We got sick of pretending that we still like them old pop songs

Cause life is way too short to sing some other versifiers song

We’ve played ‘em right side up, we’ve played ‘em upside down

We’ve played ‘em sideways, front ways, no way we could dig that sound

So we surrendered to that notion and here’s a taste of what we found
